The British singer Gabrielle is planning a trip to Zagreb upon her driver’s recommendation.
“My driver has frequently taken vacations on Croatia’s coast, so he was an excellent source of information. He told me that I am going to a country where people are very amiable, fun and where they love music, which is important to me and that is why I know I will have a good time,” says the 40 year old singer.
The singer, whose full name is Louisa Gabrielle Bobb, explains her break from the music scene in the 1990s was a measure to allow her to spend more time with her son, Jordan. With all the responsibilities of being a mother she no longer had time to write music.
But the award-winning singer made a comeback in the year 2000 with her album “Rise” topping the UK charts. Her latest project promises more upbeat songs upon her now 17-year-old son’s request.
“I’ll have some dance numbers because my son and my niece said that all of my songs are slow and sad and they would like one to which they could dance, so I decided to please them,” she told the Croatian daily Vecernji List.
